About Me

"What's your blog going to be about?"

Great question.  As a woman of many careers, opinions, a Valley girl who now lives in Kansas City, a mom of two girls (10 and 13), wife, entrepreneur, owner of two Redbone Coonhounds that were both rescues, lover of reading, eating, cooking, reading about cooking, aspiring gardener, and I have a sick addiction to reality shows, I have lots to say.

Born and raised in the famous San Fernando Valley, I am an LA girl who now lives in the heart of the mid-west, in a suburb of Kansas City. I worked in the entertainment industry in casting and public relations for many years. If you watched tv in the 90s I worked with actors on Seinfeld, Murphy Brown, LA Law, Picket Fences, Northern Exposure and The Nanny to name just a few. It was a great, crazy life, and I am sure I will share stories in my blog.  I also had a stint as a party planner which was great fun, but I hated working every weekend.

After my husband and I had our first child we moved to Kansas City, and although I miss LA everyday, I love raising our family in the mid-west.  We now own a web business, www.Bagettes.com. We make custom photo bags, and yes we get along great even though we work and live together, but owning a business is definitely like being on a roller coaster everyday. Some days it's exhilarating and some days it's terrifying.

Looking forward to sharing my thoughts and observations with you.

Wow Fee, I just love this! It's all the reasons why I Iove you so much, too. Forget the Food Network, I'll turn toward your blog instead for dinner suggestions. How about a column on what you made that your girls ate. Perhaps mine will eat it, too! Who took that beautiful photo of you? Bryan? And another sugestion, how about a daily quote of Bryan's?

    Love you,
    Leslie
  • I will def. post meals the girls approve since it is a daily struggle in our home to find 1 meal that 4 people like. Love you too!

Love all the discussion about food. When are you and Jane going to replicate The Big Night?
  • I am thinking a night of Julia Child recipes - Boeuf Bourgninon is on mind.

    Felice,
I can hardly wait to read more on all topics that interest you. I loved reading it all and plan to be a regular "comment" girl.

Do not stop the train or "brain", you are on a wonderful role, what a great way to share your talent. Have a happy night!
