Remember when I said I would write about things that annoy me, well Michael Jackson's death has really annoyed me. Sure I am sad that we have lost a talented entertainer, but let's be honest. What was the last good song he put out? When was the last time he entertained any of us with his music and not his shenanigans. And let's not forget he was $400 MILLION in debt and had not 1, but 2 child molestation trials. The mother of his kids gave up her parental rights, which make me question why he would want/demand that, and the list goes on. I love his OLD music as much as the next, but I cannot wrap my brain around people holding a vigil at the hospital or in the valley (not far from my folks' house by the way) for him. When young entertainers say "he was my inspiration" I wonder what part they are referring to. Personally, he is the last kid I want my kids to turn to for inpiration. For a great song to dance to, sure, for inspiration, no way.
