Day 2 - Today was a little more challenging, but it wasn't the juices' fault. There were many extenuating circumstances, which you can read about below.

Our juices for the Day 2:

Blueberry, Spinach, Lemon, Apple - Not my favorite. It tasted great, but it had a weird consistency.
Frozen Cherry Lime with Banana - Loved it. Like a healthy slushie.
Pineapple, Orange, Celery, Mint - Very refreshing, but I think our celery was bit bitter.
Grapefruit Strawberry - Bryan did not like this one, but I think it was because our grapefruit was not super sweet. I liked it especially after it chilled for a bit.
Spinach, Carrot, Ginger, Lemon,Apple - really good, but not very pretty.
Nut milk - divine!

The day started off great, but juicing takes time, and I had a lot of rushing around to do today, and it was 115 with the heat index, and I had to go pick up kids at the mall which included walking around Claires (which is painful even after you have had a turkey sandwich), and when we got home and the phone rang I couldn't find 1 of our FOUR phones, and I had 2 Back To School nights, and as we were leaving the house my daughter smacked her head on the counter, and did I mention it was 115 !  Let's just say my kids took the wrath of my crankiness.  Would a big spoon of peanut butter helped? Would a big glass of wine been even better? You bet, but once I got another juice in my system in between Back to school night 1 and 2, I was much better.  Ideally, I imagine myself at a lovely resort where someone makes my juice, and I get to pamper myself all day. Being a working mom, while kids are out of school, made today a very challenging juice day.  Of  course the glass of nut milk at the end of the day was pure heaven.

I am sure Day 3 will be better, although we do have a big BBQ to attend, but I was able to resist beautiful chocolates from France yesterday, so I am thinking a bowl of chips and salsa will be no problem .

Stay tuned....
